Rebecca Minish

I'm a Registered Social Worker (MSW), Psychotherapist, & SEP in private practice on unceded and unsurrended Algonquin land in Ottawa, ON. Prior to entering private practice I worked for over a decade in frontline positions in non-profit and community organizations (mental health, additions, homelessness, gendered/sexual violence), which informs and grounds my approach to therapy. In my current practice, I work with individuals over the age of 18 years. Somatic Experiencing is a primary modality, integrated with relational/attachment approaches and structural/anti-oppressive frameworks. SE has been life-changing for me, both personally and professionally, and I'm thrilled to continue deepening my learning and practice, and supporting subsequent SE students as an assistant with this next Ottawa cohort!
